It is possible to purchase and export hops listed with a U.S. storage location, but you must carefully follow these steps:
- Establish a relationship with a freight forwarder who provides you with a U.S. address in 1 of the 5 states that has no sales tax: New Hampshire, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, or Delaware.
- Use your company's legal name but the freight forwarder's address when registering your account.
- Please be aware that import regulations for hops vary from country to country - make sure you know the law and can obtain the necessary paperwork before you buy. No seller on the platform is required to provide phytosanitary certificates or any other documentation. If documentation is required, you should message the seller prior to making a purchase to ask if they are willing and able to obtain the required documentation.
- Purchase hops and ship to your freight forwarder. Do NOT ship to any state that isn't listed in #1 above.
